You are entitled to joy, peace, and satisfaction. We will work together to help you accept and love who you are now and become who you want to be. The greatest obstacle that many of us face is our own self-deprecation and self-loathing. I have personal experience with relationship, depression, and self-esteem issues. I will use that along with my professional training and experience with other clients.  We will look for patterns in your life that have led to the choices you have made and help you make healthy choices now and in the future.

I am liberal and progressive in my approach to life.  I am not a practicing Buddhist but  am very interested in Buddhism, Buddhist Philosophy, and Eastern thought and practices in general.

There have been many “teachers” in my life. I am presently very interested in the works of Sue Johnson, Raphael Cushnir, Brene Brown, Pema Chodron, Tara Brach, The Dalai Lama, Eckhart Tolle, Marianne Williamson, Deepak Chopra, and Harville Hendrix. I am continuing to expose myself to Buddhist and other mindfulness practices.

Probably my greatest teachers though continue to be my three grandchildren especially my four year old granddaughter with whom I have the pleasure of spending every Monday.

I promise to approach our sessions with sincerity and integrity and to treat you with respect. I will conduct my work with mindfulness and be totally present to you and your concerns.
